吕小英常年以来被先天的眼疾困扰，视力不好，而这正与近一段时间连环杀人案的凶手天狗的特征相符，于是孪生妹妹吕小双认定姐姐是天狗，把吕小英赶出了家门，并说不许姐姐参加她的婚礼。一个月后，妹妹吕小双正在举行结婚典礼，可能是姐妹连心，正在忙碌的吕小双忽然感到一阵窒息，她预感到姐姐一定出了什么事情，顾不得正在进行着的婚礼，便奔往姐姐的住处，然而等待她的是姐姐挂在房梁上的冰凉尸体…… 尽管警方已经确认了吕小英是手术失败后彻底失明导致的绝望自杀，然而吕小双却根据现场的种种细节，坚信姐姐并非自杀，而且接下来几天发生的种种怪事也似乎印证着姐姐的死另有蹊跷。于是，吕小双把婚礼推迟，开始了艰难的侦探历程。那么，姐姐吕小英是连坏凶手天狗吗？她真的是上吊自杀吗？
